HoopEdge ("we," "us," or "our") operates the HoopEdge mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name. We use Firebase Authentication (provided by Google) to manage sign-in credentials. We do not store your password directly; authentication is handled by Firebase.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages viewed, predictions accessed, bets placed within the app, device type, operating system, and approximate location (country-level). This data helps us improve the Service and provide relevant content.
Payment Information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment processing in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. We receive only a confirmation of payment status, a customer ID, and the subscription plan you selected.

- Vercel / Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery. Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamps) may be collected.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information and betting history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure authentication tokens (JWT), and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
