Privacy Policy

Ardenly LLC (“HoopEdge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the HoopEdge website, applications, and services. This policy describes the information we handle when you use them.

1. Information we handle

• Account information: email address, display name, account identifier, password hash, and sign-in/session information. The server hashes passwords with bcrypt, a one-way method; we do not store them in readable form.
• Sign-in providers and notifications: Apple or Google sign-in identifiers, email or name shared by the provider, and device tokens used to send notifications when you enable them.
• Service activity: predictions and features accessed, simulated bet and virtual-credit records, saved preferences, and support communications.
• Analytics and diagnostics: first-party event records used to understand Service use, which may include the event name, platform, account email where available, event properties, and time. Technical request logs may include IP address, browser or device details, and request time.
• Purchase records: transaction or subscription identifiers, selected product, payment status, and credit grants. Stripe, Apple, or Google processes payments through the channel you choose; we do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

2. How we use information

We use this information to operate accounts and features, provide predictions and simulated ledgers, process purchases, respond to support requests, maintain security, diagnose problems, and understand how people use the Service.

3. Sharing and public features

Cloudflare provides website hosting and content delivery; Railway hosts the backend service and database; and Stripe processes web payments. Apple and Google process purchases made through their stores. These providers handle information needed to perform those services under their own terms and privacy policies. Apple and Google also provide sign-in services, and Apple's Push Notification service delivers iOS notifications when you enable them. Our backend also stores first-party analytics events such as event type, platform, account email when available, properties, and event time.

Some leaderboard, profile, and share features display a username, selected simulated bets, or performance statistics to other users or anyone with a public share link. Treat information submitted to those features as public. Your use of these features does not make your password or private account credentials public.

We may disclose information when needed to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect people or the Service, or establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information for money.

4. Retention and deletion

We keep account and activity information while needed to provide the Service and for legitimate operational, security, accounting, dispute-resolution, or legal needs. Retention periods can differ by record type. You can request account deletion from Settings or at hoopedge.ai/account-deletion. Deleting an account removes its profile, simulated bets, virtual-credit balance and transaction history, username, and device tokens. It also deletes first-party analytics records linked to the account email and any matching beta-signup record. Referral links and redemption associations are removed; other users keep their own credits. We do not replace deleted account rows with anonymized versions.

Account deletion does not delete records held separately by Apple, Google, or Stripe; contact the applicable provider about its records. Deleting your HoopEdge account does not automatically cancel an external subscription or issue a refund. Cancel web subscriptions in HoopEdge Settings before deleting your account, or contact support@hoopedge.ai for help if it is already deleted. Manage store subscriptions through Apple or Google. Operational logs kept outside the account database may remain under our operational and security retention practices, and anonymous or unattributable events may remain. We explain any records we must retain under applicable law or necessary recordkeeping; we do not promise a fixed completion time for those records or provider-held data.

5. Security

We use measures such as encrypted connections, server-issued JWT session tokens, password hashing, and access controls. No system can guarantee perfect security. Keep your credentials private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive certain information about you, or to object to or limit some uses. Contact support@hoopedge.ai to ask a question or make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when law or a permitted business need requires it.

7. Children

HoopEdge is intended only for people aged 17 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 17. Contact us if you believe someone under 17 has provided information so we can review it.
